Our Story
PixelStitch began as a small dream, sparked by the vision of our founder, Hasan Habib. During a visit to Gilgit, Hasan visited the Prince Barkat Foundation (PBF) and was captivated by the intricate floral cross-stitch designs created by local women artisans. While their craftsmanship was exceptional, the traditional designs struggled to find a market, leaving these talented artisans without a sustainable income.
Determined to make a difference, Hasan conceived the idea of PixelStitch. He envisioned transforming these traditional patterns into more mainstream, hip, and modern art pieces that would appeal to a broader audience. By doing so, he aimed to provide these skilled artisans with the financial independence they deserved.
PixelStitch started as a humble initiative, but with a clear mission: to support and uplift female artisans in Pakistan. Today, we continue to grow, striving to expand our reach and empower more artisans each day. Our story is one of creativity, resilience, and hope, woven together by the talented hands of the women we proudly support.
